Stick a Fork in Me, Cause I'm Done! Ssssss!

1000 years? Who wouldn't want to be remembered for 1000 years? So what if you die in your twentites. We are all going to die anyway, why not enjoy life and all the crap it gives us and run with it? But if I wasn't on this sugar rush I wouldn't be thinking about the fame but all the good that I could do. I would do everything to the extreme. Giving time, money, and other resources to thoughs who need it. And spluge a little on me. It's like the movie The Last Holiday, when the women thought she had three weeks to live, so she took all her money out of the bank and did everything she ever wanted to do. Then found out that she wass misdiagnosed. You never know what life can throw at you. Plus if I had to live a long life with let's say Hutchins disease, I would kill myself. The only thing I feel I would miss is seeing how well people turn out. But then again, some people I wouldn't miss...at all...seriously.

YEA 4 LIFE!

Thunder! Thunder! Thunder! ThunderCats, Ho!

I don't know if anyone remembers this show, but ThunderCats was DA BOMB! The show was basically about these cat-like creatures whose planet was destroyed and they moved to Third Earth, which is a futuristic Planet Earth. The fought evil while protecting a gem, the Eye of Thundera, which was embedded in the hilt of the mystic Sword of Omens. Their names were so cheesy! The leader was Lion-o, along his side was Jaga the Wise, Tygra, Panthro, Cheetara, and WilyKat and WilyKit, who were twin brother and sister. The villains, who always lost the battle in a twenty minute slot, were Mumm-Ra, who without fail was in every episode trying to defeat the Thundercats, The Mutants, Lanataks, Hammerheads, and so much more.

I was about three or for when I really jumped into it and i don't remember much, but I do remember I had the schedule of this show down to the second before it aired. Every school day at 4:30 I would get home, eat my snack and relaxed until 5 when ThunderCats came on. Whatever I was doing I would stop it immediately and go watch. If I was talking to a friend, "Sorry, I gotta go watch ThunderCats." I can't really say why I loved it. Maybe because my own imagination could not imagine such a thing. Talking felines with large swords saving a world. It was BIZARRE! Although there were several shows out there like ThunderCats, like Power Rangers (when is was still simple and cool), Voltron, and Jem and the Holograms, with TC I was more adventurous. With all those other shows you could guess what happened next week because most ended in "To Be Continued," but TC almost never ended like that. And to see Lion-o put his up his sword above his head and yell, "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight!" never got old. Now, I look back and think, "Man, I was DORK!" But I wouldn't change a thing about TC, because nothing gives the same feeling as when I was watching

...All Play and No Work Makes Jack a Mere Toy

The philosiphy that I recieved from reading Siddhartha (and the passage) was something to the effect of "Our destinies are kind of planned out already, the question is are we willing to take the ride?" Little did Saddhartha know, but he was most likely suppose to be the one out of he and Govinda to live through want they both sought out (or else the book would have been title 'Govinda'). To experience it first hand and to pass ona little taste of the knowledge he gained so his listeners may have the desire to seek enlightenment for themselves.

On the other hand, Western thinking says, "My future is what I make of it." If I want to be rich, I work to be rich, if I want to be happy, I work for my happiness. No one reminds you about thoughs people who are born rich so are automatically happy. Most of us have to fight the temtation to do bad because not only will it mess upp our lives, but the lives around us. We are sinners by nature, the challenge of life is will you give into the urges? Don't let fear stop you from living. Like Siddhartha, you may have to let go of the thing you treasure the most to ind true enlughtenment.

A smile a day keeps the psychiatrist away! :)

Camp Wannaweep

What is high school but a day camp? We come, put our lunches in our cubbies, divide into our little groups, go around to our different stations, and then we go home. Sounds like fun. And through this hustle and bustle do we really walk away with anything? YES! but not book knowledege (if that happens it was totally be accident, we just happened to open the book and the knowledge just flew into our minds). We learn about life, where we will be in ten, fifteen years. Our experience in high school (and in college) is what we will base the rest of our lives on. How many time have you heard some one say, "Man, when i was in high/college school..." At that point you want to run because they will talk and talk about something that has no relavence to anything. People feel that one
mistake they made in high school screwed their karma for good. But while we learn of life, most of walk away with no knowledge of what we tlaked about when we were in "tribe time."

And yet there is this urge to get that 'A.' What does that mean any way? I'm good at cramming information two minutes before the test starts? GREAT! Think for a sec, if your an adult and you work what if you got an 'A' instead of a paycheck? HA! HA! I'm sorry. That was mean of me, but you must admitt if that happened that would SUCK. Me personally, I measure my life in those little packs of Splenda sugar. Right now, I'm at 13 packs, not very good. I'm normally at a 32-ish. Yea...that sounds about right...32.

No, but on a serious note, I measure my life on how many smiles I can put on the faces I meet that day. Not only is someone happy but I helped make them that way. If that's a crime, I'll gladly take responsibility for it.

This is what I really think about in class...

Make everyday better than the last! :)

Float Like A Butterfly Sting Like A Bee...!

Muhammad Ali is an icon for many things like strength, faith and power. One thing he was never a icon for is weakness. He was the poster child of of power. He beliefs and a consistancy was what led him to greatness.

Winning 56 of his 61 fights, Ali never did anyhing he didn't feel must be done. Continuing when peopl told him to sit done and fighting when others called him afraid because he wouldn't fight in the war. Little did they know, he was destined for something great things.

Ali is and icon to me because no matter what generation you belong to his stoy and journey through life is always inspirering. Young boxers all over the world look to him for gudience and advice. When someone goes through such life changing events, it is only a matter of time that the outcome will show.

Ali=Power
Power=Respect
Respct=Success

Jumbo Shrimp

LOVE
Ricky was "L" but he's home with the flu,
Lizzie, out "O," had some homwork to do,
Mitchell, "E" prob'ly got lost on the way,
So I'm all of love that could make it today
-Shel Silverstein

The trouble with school is
They always try to teach the wrong lesson
Believe me, I've been kicked out
Of enough of them to know
They want you to become less callow
Less shallow
But I say: why invite stress in?
Stop studying strife
And learn to live "the unexamined life"
-"Dancing Through Life", Wicked

Many people do not believe when I say, "To see others happy, makes me happy."
What makes me happier if I was a part of the reason they are happy. The poem about
love is like my life's mission. I don't want to stop until I feel that the "forgotten"
know that there is at least one person who truly cares about them. I don't mind if I am the only person who feels this way. Because I want it, it will get gone. This is probably the only
thing in the world I'm passonate about. Which brings me to the song "Dancing Through Life."
This songs describes me because I feel that there is nothing in the world that important to stress over. I'm not a procrastinator, I just don't blow things out of proportion. If your relaxed, everyone around tends to feel relaxed and the world is a calm place.
